Okay, I have a Canon ELURA 100 and I lost the DV cable and I only have USB cables. It fits but wont work with windows movie maker, is there a way I could capture the video onto my computer without using a DV cable. If there is, plz explain?

I have a camcorder canon elura 60, I want to transfer the recordings taken on cassets to my PC so that I can burn CDs and reuse the cassets for more recording. I don't know which cable is used for this ? If some one could help me on this, that would be great. Thank You.

Help. Anyone know how best to download and burn my videos and photos from canon elura 100 to my Windows Vista PC? I have a laptop without firewire port, and I bought a Pinnacle video capture pack but they donot seem to be very compatible with the Windows Vista on my PC. I have tried to install both softwares(canon and Pinnacle) and my PC operation was negatively altered, so I unistalled some of the softwares and everything seems muddled up, but my PC is ok now. How do I fix these video download problems?

I have never worked with a camera before and I don't know how to do this. Is there a FAQ page for my camera anywhere?
